With the vision of women empowerment, Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Miraj was established in 1983 under 'Abhinav Shikshan Sanstha' affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur The college was later merged in The New Miraj Education Society, Miraj in 2007. This merging helped to expand the society from K.G. to P.G.

The institution, having awareness of the condition and atmosphere from which our girl students try to seek education, has introduced various supportive schemes to boost the students in higher education.

• 3. Endowment Prizes to students for academic and extra curricular activities.
• 4. Raising supportive funding from sympathisers and alumni for the students.

The institution is always in supportive and motivating role for the staff and provides the infrastructure and other necessary facilities and academic aids. The management tries to maintain healthy and education friendly atmosphere in the campus.

Realising the need of various skills for employment, we wish to introduce skill oriented certificate courses and create supportive infrastructure and the facilities.
